FINE CHISEL

We’re a theatre company and we’re a band. We tell stories. We’re based in the South East of England but we’ve performed in theatres across the UK. We have also performed while huddling in the corners of pubs, dancing in the streets and balancing on tables in festival tents. We create and perform new works that speak of now. Our style is unashamedly handmade.

We won a Three Weeks Editors’ Award for our 2012 three-show Edinburgh season. Two of those shows (Midnight at the Boar’s Head and Firing Blanks) are touring across the UK in 2013. We are also working with Drunken Chorus as part of their ‘Drunken Nights’ alternative pub performance project.

We are currently developing a brand new devised piece, Dumbstruck, which will premiere this summer.
