We should have enough mojitos to go round.
Will you help us make something special, here in this pub, tonight?
We’ll play some songs – your bit is easy.

Fine Chisel are currently working with Drunken Chorus as part of their exciting Drunken Nights project. In answer to their call-out for new performances specifically built for pubs, we presented a 10-minute scratch at the Trafalgar Arms in Tooting. We sang, you sang; we drank, you drank; we pretended to be can-can dancers, you… well, it was a blast!
We were subsequently chosen as one of three companies to be taken forward for further development. We were resident at Rich Mix in Bethnal Green for a week in January to extend the piece ready for a series of triple-bill performances with the other Drunken Nights artists. And the icing on the cake – we spent a week working with Cathy Naden (founding member of Forced Entertainment) as our mentor for the process.
Come be part of the BLOWOUT:
Wednesday 30 January – The Star in Highgate
Wednesday 6 February – The Trafalgar Arms Tooting
FREE ENTRY (and did we mention the mojitos?)
You can find out more about the project and the other incredible artists who are involved in it here. We also wrote an Artist’s Diary if you’re interested in the slightly unique process of putting this piece together. See you at the bar!
